Touchbase Doorman is a smart biometric authentication system. Doorman uses voice recognition and a telephone to authenticate users. Every once in a while when they log in to the MLS, Doorman will call the user and ask them to speak several numbers. Doorman doesn’t call on every login – most of the time, users never know it’s there.

Each user is starts with a confidence level, as defined by the MLS. After an automated enrollment, each member will be authenticated several times to familiarize them with Doorman. Following each successful authentication, the confidence level of their account is raised and they are required to authenticate less often. When a user fails an authentication, their confidence level lowers, and they may be asked to authenticate more frequently in the future in order to raise their confidence level again.
